One of the most important things to establish when working with Product Management is the vision for the product. The vision is often described as a "future state" of your product.

This means that you vision should not be to create the product you are about to create – but more about what you hope to achieve with and, and for whom. In that way it's also something for you and the rest of the team to look at, if you feel like you have lost your focus at some point.
